15-Year-Old Girl Injured in West Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An overnight shooting in West Philadelphia has left a 15-year-old girl wounded.

The incident occurred around 1:23 a.m. Sunday on the 700 block of North 47th Street.

Police, upon arrival at the scene, discovered the girl with a gunshot wound to her thigh. She was subsequently transported to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by the police and has been stabilized.

Currently, no weapons have been recovered from the scene, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
