Cambridge Shooting Injures One; Two Suspects at Large

CAMBRIDGE, MD – A shooting incident occurred late Sunday night in Cambridge.

Police officers, after receiving a report of shots fired, arrived at the 700 block of Foxtrail Drive around 10:30 p.m.

Upon inspection, they observed damage to the back door and interior of the residence, caused by gunfire.

Multiple shell casings were also recovered at the scene. The 39-year-old male victim, with a gunshot wound to his left ankle/foot area, was located and taken to TidalHealth in Salisbury for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses reported two armed suspects dressed entirely in black with face masks. While this is considered an isolated event, the police are asking the community to remain cautious as the investigation continues.
