Juvenile Injured in Lancaster County Shooting

LANCASTER TOWNSHIP, PA – A shooting incident on Monday evening resulted in injuries to a juvenile in Lancaster County.

The Manheim Township Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at around 5:30 p.m. on Sterling Place near Wabank Road.

Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile injured from the shooting, who was then transported to a hospital. Specific details about the juvenile, including name and age, have been withheld.

Initial findings indicate that multiple weapon types were employed, with more than 10 rounds being discharged during the incident.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and it’s yet to be determined if the injured juvenile was specifically targeted.
