SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney disclosed that Shanti Felton, 20, of Virginia, entered a guilty plea for the illegal possession of over 4,000 fentanyl pills, more than 200 methamphetamine pills, and three loaded firearms.

One of these weapons had been modified to operate as a machine gun.

Felton was located in Bay Shore on October 19, 2022, by the combined efforts of local and federal law enforcement.

They apprehended him as he attempted escape, discovering the drugs and weapons in the process.

Felton is scheduled for sentencing on December 8, and is anticipated to receive a 10-year prison term followed by five years of post-release supervision.
