Four Teens Shot, 1 Dead in Bensalem Shooting

BENSALEM, PA – A shooting occurred on Tuesday, when Bensalem Police were called to Bristol Pike and Woodbine Avenue at 7:35 pm.

A confrontation involving a large group of juveniles escalated to gunfire, resulting in one fatality and two injuries.

Fourteen-year-old Peter Romano, a Snyder Middle School student, was pronounced dead from a chest wound.

Two other victims, aged 17 and 19, are receiving medical care, with the 17-year-old awaiting surgery.

The incident, still under investigation by the Bensalem Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, began with shots fired from a vehicle that fled the scene. Police are asking witnesses to come forward with any information.
