Two Shot, One Dead, One Critical in Homestead

HOMESTEAD, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 300 block of E 12th Avenue in Homestead. At 1:10 am today, the County’s 9-1-1 received reports of the shooting. Upon arrival, first responders discovered two adult males with gunshot injuries. One of the victims was declared dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.

The police are seeking assistance from the public regarding the incident. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers have the option to remain anonymous.
