19-Year-Old Had $34,000 in Cash in His Backpack When He was Beaten and Robbed

NEW YORK, NY — A 19-year-old man was beaten and robbed in Brooklyn and police say the perps too off with $34,000 in cash stuffed in the man’s backpack.

The NYPD is seeking assistance in identifying suspects involved in a robbery at 230 Park Avenue South on October 25. Two men, aged 37 and 33, were robbed at gunpoint at approximately 11:00 p.m.

The suspects, whose images have been released, brandished a firearm and proceeded to forcibly take jewelry and designer accessories, estimated at a value of $29,000, from the victims. Following the incident, the assailants fled north on Park Avenue.

While the victims were not physically harmed, the New York City Police Department’s 13th Precinct has intensified efforts to locate the individuals responsible for the robbery. The NYPD has released images of the suspects to the public, urging anyone with information to come forward.
