Egg Harbor Township Police to Enforce Ban on ATVs in Nature Reserve

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The local police department has issued a public advisory concerning the use of motor vehicles, including ATVs and electric bikes, within the Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve.

Following recent complaints, the department has announced a strict enforcement policy on ordinance EHT165-5C.

The ordinance prohibits the operation of minibikes, motor scooters, motorbikes, go-carts, swamp buggies, snowmobiles, and other motor-driven vehicles in parks and recreational areas. The advisory aims to remind the public of the regulations and the department’s commitment to preserving the tranquility and safety of the Nature Reserve.
