Fayette County Homeowner Shoots and Kills Home Invader

FAYETTE COUNTY, OH – A fatal shooting occurred last Wednesday night following a reported home invasion.

Fayette County Police Department responded to a 911 call around 11 p.m. from a homeowner claiming to have shot an intruder on the 1000 block of East Paint Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical responders confirmed the death at the scene.

Details surrounding the shooting, including the identities of those involved, remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.
