Knife-Wielding Man Threatens Employee in Chelsea Business Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify an individual involved in a robbery at a commercial establishment.

On Wednesday, at about 1:35 pm, the suspect entered a store located at 155 8th Avenue in Chelsea.

Armed with a knife, the suspect demanded money from a 29-year-old store employee and forcibly removed around $300 from the cash register before fleeing north on 8th Avenue. The employee was unharmed.

The NYPD has released media related to this case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
