Parkesburg Man Arrested for April Armed Robbery

PARKESBURG, PA – On Friday, the local police apprehended Kenneth R. Johnson Jr. concerning an armed robbery that took place in the 500 block of West First Avenue on or around April 30.

During the subsequent investigation, Johnson was also found to be concealing a handgun in May, while in the 300 block of West Main Street.

Acting on this intelligence, a search warrant was executed at Johnson’s residence on October 19, where police uncovered evidence relating to illegal drug sales and the possession of an illegal firearm.

Johnson is now facing charges of armed robbery and related offenses. A preliminary hearing is pending and will be scheduled at the Parkesburg District Court.

The police are continuing their investigation into Johnson’s activities and any related criminal conduct.
