Police Arrest Chambersburg Man for Assaulting Woman

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – The Chambersburg Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at 245 Whitley Drive on Sunday.

An individual was reported to have physically assaulted his girlfriend, resulting in bodily harm. Following the incident, officers arrested the assailant.

The defendant, whose identity is being withheld, now faces charges of simple assault and resisting arrest.

He was taken to the Franklin County Jail to await arraignment. The Chambersburg Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the dispute.

The police department affirms their commitment to addressing and preventing domestic violence in the community. Those facing similar threats are asked to seek help from law enforcement and local support services.
