Suspect Arrested for Stabbing Woman in Camp Springs

CAMP SPRINGS, MD — The Prince George’s County Police have apprehended 30-year-old James Minor of Clinton in connection with the stabbing of a senior citizen.

The incident occurred within a business in the 7100 block of Temple Hill Road on the evening of November 1. The victim, a woman in her 70s, suffered multiple stab wounds and was subsequently hospitalized, where she is reported to be in stable condition.

Minor, who reportedly did not know the victim prior to the attack, faces charges including first and second degree attempted murder, robbery, and auto theft. The investigation is ongoing to ascertain the motive behind the assault.

Minor is currently detained by the Department of Corrections. Authorities urge anyone with information pertinent to this case to contact Division V – Clinton station detectives or use anonymous channels provided by Prince George’s County Police.
