Syracuse Man Survives Multiple Shots to the Buttocks

SYRACUSE, NY – Early Wednesday morning, Syracuse Police were summoned to a reported shooting on Ballantyne Road.

Upon arrival at the scene around 12:42 a.m., officers discovered a 35-year-old man with several gunshot wounds.

Located in a parking lot at 121 Ballantyne Road, the injured man was suffering from wounds to the buttocks.

The Syracuse Police Department, under Lt. Matthew Malinowski, confirmed that the victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital. He is expected to make a recovery.

No further details about the shooting have been released as of yet. The Syracuse Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
