Downtown Halloween Window Painting Winners Announced

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Kiwanis Club announced the victors of the annual Halloween Parade Downtown Toms River window painting event hosted by High School South. Maya Corsaro earned the top spot, with Jaiden Freestone following as runner-up, and Maddie McBride and Ava Gray tied for third place.

Each year, student artists from High School South contribute to the Halloween festivities by adorning downtown windows with themed paintings. The Kiwanis Club judges the vibrant displays, recognizing the creativity and effort of the young artists.

The recognition by the Kiwanis Club underscores the importance of student involvement in local traditions and the celebration of artistic expression.

This year’s selection celebrates the standout work of Corsaro, whose window painting captured the first-place honor. Freestone’s creation followed in a close second, and the artistic duo of McBride and Gray shared the third-place spotlight.

Photographs of the winning window paintings, captured by Jenna Mikels, showcase the artistic talent present at High School South and contribute to the community’s Halloween spirit.
