Elderly Man With Oxygen Mask, Walker Steals $4,000 From Columbus Bank

COLUMBUS, OH — Detectives from the Property Crimes Bureau are seeking assistance to identify a suspect involved in fraudulent bank withdrawals on October 11.

An unidentified male entered a bank on the 5800 block of Sawmill Rd., using a fake I.D. to procure a debit card linked to a victim’s account. The suspect subsequently withdrew $4,000. Surveillance footage is used to track down the individual responsible for the theft.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to contact Detective Neely directly or to submit anonymous tips to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.
