Burlington City Police Investigate Dollar General Robbery

BURLINGTON, NJ – The Burlington City Police Department reported a robbery that occurred on Monday, October 30, at approximately 7:19 pm at the Dollar General located at 919 Route 130.

Officers were dispatched to the scene after the store manager reported a shoplifting incident that escalated to assault.

According to the manager’s account, four suspects initiated shoplifting and attacked him with punches and kicks when confronted, causing him to fall to the ground.

The suspects then fled on foot towards Uhler Avenue. The Criminal Investigation Division is actively seeking assistance in identifying the perpetrators.

Detective William Lancenese is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information to come forward. The department ensures confidentiality for all tips received.
