Drunken Man Arrested For Picking Fights Outside Bank Office

WEST CHESTER, PA – A disturbance in front of Chase Bank on High Street led to the arrest of 23-year-old Joshua Lagal from Thornton.

The incident took place early last Saturday when officers observed Lagal, in an intoxicated state, attempting to instigate fights with patrons.

Upon his arrest for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, Lagal was taken to the police station where he then assaulted an officer. This act resulted in an additional charge of aggravated assault against him.

Following these events, Lagal was transported to Chester County Prison to await arraignment.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled at District Court 15-1-04. The West Chester Police Department is overseeing the case and its subsequent legal processes.
