NYC Corrections Officer Charged with DWI

NEW YORK, NY – An off-duty Correction Officer was taken into custody early Tuesday morning on charges of driving while intoxicated. Joseph Ramos, 40, was arrested in the 40th Precinct at approximately 3:31 AM.

The New York City Police Department confirmed the arrest, stating that Ramos is facing DWI charges. Details regarding the circumstances leading to the arrest have not been disclosed.
