NYPD Seeks Suspect in Multiple Vehicle Vandalizing Incidents, Including Police Cars

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is requesting public assistance in identifying an individual involved in a criminal mischief incident. The incident took place on Friday, around 1:44 pm.

On that day, an unknown male approached six parked, unoccupied vehicles on Bryant Avenue and Hylan Boulevard, puncturing their tires.

Affected vehicles include a 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a 2019 Acura sedan, a 2023 Toyota sedan, and two marked police vehicles.

The suspect, described as a light-complexioned male, was seen wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, white t-shirt, black pants, and white sneakers, fleeing northbound on Hylan Boulevard.

The NYPD asks anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
