Two Found DEadin Vehicle in Linden, Police Investigating

LINDEN, NJ — A death investigation is in progress after Linden Police discovered two deceased individuals in a vehicle on the 1900 block of E. Linden Ave earlier today. Officers, who were responding to a welfare check at approximately 12:10 PM, found a man and a woman dead upon arrival.

The Linden Police Detective Bureau, in conjunction with the Union County Homicide Task Force, is conducting the investigation. While details are limited, detectives have indicated that they believe the deaths to be an isolated incident, and they have assured that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The Union County Prosecutor’s Office is taking over the investigation.
