NYPD Identifies Woman Found Dead in Garbage Bag in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – On Thursday, October 26, officers from the New York Police Department responded to an incident at 2225 Lacombe Avenue in the Bronx.

At approximately 9:08 am, after receiving a 911 call, officers arrived to discover a 32-year-old woman, Melissa Stout, unresponsive inside a garbage bag at the rear of the location.

Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene and pronounced Stout deceased. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been tasked with determining the cause of death.

At this stage, there have been no arrests, and the NYPD is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Stout’s death.

The NYPD asks anyone with information to come forward.
