13-Year-Old Arrested for Silver Spring Shooting

SILVER SPRING, MD – A 13-year-old male has been detained in connection with a shooting on November Circle from earlier this year.

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section of the local Police Department identified the suspect, leading to his arrest during a traffic stop on November 3.

The arrest occurred after officers observed a black Toyota Rav4 committing traffic violations.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered multiple loaded firearms and significant quantities of marijuana.

The teenager and six other minors in the vehicle were charged with possession of firearms. The police encourage anyone with further information to contact them.
