BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn has announced the sentencing of Felix Ramos, a 47-year-old Buffalo resident.

Ramos was given a 2 to 4-year term by State Supreme Court Justice Betty Calvo-Torres, with a mandatory drug treatment program before parole.

The sentence is in response to a burglary on Monday, December 26, 2022, at a Family Dollar store during a snowstorm closure.

Ramos entered the premises through a damaged door intending to commit theft. Confronted by officers, he attempted escape but was detained.

Having pleaded guilty to Third-Degree Burglary on October 2, Ramos was directed to avoid all Family Dollar stores as part of his sentence. The Property Crimes Unit of the local police department handled the case.
