Firearm Recovered from Student at Golden Ring Middle School

ROSEDALE, MD – A breach of school safety recently occurred in Rosedale, when a loaded firearm was discovered with a 12-year-old middle school student.

The incident occurred at Golden Ring Middle School. The Baltimore County Police Department has charged Heather Rao, aged 45, with negligence for allowing the minor access to the firearm.

The youth involved has not been charged due to his age. The discovery was made on Wednesday, November 1.
