Suspect Sought for Assaulting Multiple NYC Bus Drivers

QUEENS, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify an assailant involved in a series of attacks on MTA Bus Drivers.

The incidents occurred on Saturday, October 14.

The first assault was at 6:00 am, when a 53-year-old driver of a Q25 bus was pepper-sprayed. He was taken to Booth Memorial Medical Center in stable condition.

Shortly after, at 7:40 am, a second driver, aged 50, was struck with a cellphone while operating a Q65 bus. He declined medical aid.

The aggressor in both cases has yet to be apprehended. The Major Case Squad is conducting the inquiry, and witnesses or individuals with information are asked to contact law enforcement.
