Robbery Suspect Arrested in Utica

UTICA, NY – A robbery on Roberts St around 9:20 PM on November 11th led to the arrest of 19-year-old Jayland Loadholt from Utica.

Utica Police responded to a robbery report. The victim, returning from a convenience store, was approached by a masked individual on a bicycle. The assailant demanded the victim’s belongings, forcibly taking a cell phone and wallet, and then fled.

Officers, given a description of the suspect, located and stopped an individual on Court St near State St. After positive identification, the suspect was taken to the Utica Police Department.

Loadholt faces a charge of third-degree robbery.
