Leesport Man Arrested Following Shooting at Tilden Township Pub

TILDEN TOWNSHIP, PA – Thomas Fronina, 37, of Leesport, was arrested early Sunday morning after a shooting incident at Pappy T’s Pub and Lounge on Industrial Drive.

State Police from the Hamburg station charged Fronina with assault, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

According to the police report, Fronina was displaying a .380 caliber pistol to another patron and accidentally discharged a round.

The bullet struck a 43-year-old Leesport woman in the lower leg and a fragment injured a 45-year-old Orwigsburg man in the ankle. Both victims were attended to, with the woman being hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

Details on Fronina’s case status were not available as of Sunday. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
