Miami-Dade County and Miami Beach to Host Regional Climate Leadership Summit

MIAMI, FL – Miami-Dade County in collaboration with the City of Miami Beach is set to host the 15th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit. This important event, organized by the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact, aims to facilitate discussions and idea sharing on enhancing regional responses to climate challenges and building resilience against climate change.

Scheduled for November 16-17, 2023, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the summit is expected to attract a diverse group of attendees. Leaders from business, government, academia, and non-profit organizations will come together to exchange insights and strategies for tackling climate-related issues specific to the Southeast Florida region.

The summit provides a platform for these leaders to collaborate and innovate in the field of climate adaptation and mitigation. It emphasizes the importance of a unified regional approach in addressing the complex challenges posed by climate change.
