North Philadelphia Apartment Shooting Leaves Man Critically Injured

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 35-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting inside an apartment at the 3900 block of N. 5th St. in North Philadelphia.

The incident, occurring within the 25th District, was reported by the Philadelphia Police Department.

The victim, who has not been identified, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was quickly transported to Temple Hospital by police and is currently in a stable but critical condition.

A weapon was recovered at the scene, and the motive has been preliminarily identified as self-defense.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is actively handling the case.
