Suspect Arrested in East Homicide Fatal Shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Police Department has arrested 21-year-old Thomas Lacey III in connection with a homicide in east Columbus.

The incident occurred on Friday, on Landon Drive.

Officers, responding to a disturbance report, discovered 41-year-old Michael Holland with a gunshot wound.

Despite immediate medical aid, Holland succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Lacey, who was at the scene, has been charged with murder and is currently held at the Franklin County Jail.
