Watch: Sovereign Citizen Finds Out Florida’s Laws Are Real During Traffic Stop

VOLUSIA, FL – A recent traffic stop in Volusia County escalated when deputies encountered individuals claiming to be sovereign citizens, resulting in multiple arrests.

“You mean I need to have a driver’s license?” the man says, as a woman tells police to leave the man alone, rambling on a mobile phone.

Detry Wogerman, born March 23, 1965, was arrested on several charges, including driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked license (habitual offender), and resisting an officer without violence.

Laralynne Nabozny, born April 28, 1980, faced charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence.
