Sarasota Man Arrested for Trafficking Fentanyl in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, FL – Esteban Perez Jr., a resident of Sarasota, has been arrested by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office for possessing a significant amount of fentanyl.

The arrest took place following a traffic stop on Saturday night, where Perez was found with 987 fentanyl pills, alongside other drugs and paraphernalia.

Sheriff Kevin Rambosk emphasized the dangers of fentanyl and his commitment to removing it from the county.

The drugs seized from Perez had the potential to cause widespread harm, with the fentanyl alone capable of affecting a large number of individuals.

Perez now faces charges of fentanyl trafficking and additional felonies related to drug possession.
