Frederick, MD — On the morning of November 15, 2023, bomb threats were reported at West Frederick Middle School and Crestwood Middle School, prompting immediate evacuations.

Frederick Police Department, in coordination with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, conducted thorough searches of both schools. By 10:45 a.m., authorities determined the threats to be non-credible, allowing students and staff to safely return.

Investigations continue to trace the origin of the calls, especially as similar threats were reported in other Maryland schools on the same day.
