Investigation Launched Following Shooting in Turtle Creek

TURTLE CREEK, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on the 100 block of Penn Avenue in Turtle Creek.

The incident was reported to County 9-1-1 at 8:04 pm, following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, first responders found an adult male with a lower leg injury. The individual was promptly transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department have begun investigating the incident. It has been confirmed that no individuals were struck by gunfire during the event.
