Man Armed With Gun Spotted Weighing Out Drugs on Atlantic City Street

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — The Atlantic City Police Department apprehended Christian Parcaro, 49, for alleged drug distribution and unlawful possession of a firearm.

On November 8, 2023, at 11:11 AM, Officers Danish Mohammad and Ridge Gradel, while patrolling the first block of South Florida Avenue, observed Parcaro using a scale in a manner indicative of narcotics distribution. Upon approaching, the officers discovered cocaine on the scale and a bag of heroin in Parcaro’s possession. He was arrested without incident and found to be carrying a loaded handgun and additional drugs.

Further investigation led to Parcaro’s residence on the beach block of St. James Place, where more narcotics were seized. The total recovery included 41 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of heroin, and 27 grams of methamphetamine.

Parcaro faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon while committing a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) offense, possession of a large capacity magazine, possession of CDS in various forms, intent to distribute CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
