Riviera Beach Woman Busted for Trafficking Fentanyl in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY, FL – A drug operation by Martin County Special Investigations Detectives led to the recent arrest of 42-year-old Skyya Lanasha Charles of Riviera Beach for trafficking fentanyl.

During the operation aimed at mid-level drug dealers, Charles took over sales from a lower-level dealer, boasting her ability to provide large quantities of Fentanyl.

Charles delivered 140 capsules of fentanyl, totaling 21 grams, and also offered methamphetamine for sale.

Upon learning of the minimum mandatory 25-year prison sentence for trafficking in Martin County, Charles fainted, only to be revived and informed of her charges.

She now faces charges of trafficking in Fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance. Charles is being held in Martin County jail with a bond set at $370,000.00.
