Rabbit Downey Jr. Awaiting New Home at Ocean County Area Shelter

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Rabbit Downey Jr., despite his tough exterior, is anything but a hard guy. At just 5 months old, this young rabbit has already faced challenges, having survived a difficult hoarding situation where he was injured among many rabbits not living harmoniously.

R.D. Jr. might come off as a bit defensive initially, but this is understandable given his past. He’s still a baby at heart and learning to trust. Once comfortable, R.D. Jr. reveals his true nature — a loving, friendly, and incredibly sweet rabbit.

This little survivor is eager for a fresh start in a caring and safe environment. He’s ready to show his best self and is sure to win over the hearts of those he meets. R.D. Jr. is a testament to resilience and the power of love and care.

For those interested in giving Rabbit Downey Jr. a forever home, please contact the shelter at 609-693-1900 or email office@ahsppz.org for an application. He’s a little bundle of love waiting for his chance to thrive in a nurturing home.
