Suspect Sought in Attempted Abduction in Queens

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance following an attempted abduction.

The incident, involving a 15-year-old female victim, occurred on Wednesday, around 8:20 AM near Francis Lewis Boulevard and 113th Road.

The suspect, described as a male aged 35-45 with light skin complexion, dark beard, and hair, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, approached the victim next to his vehicle.

He attempted to forcibly pull her into his black SUV. The victim managed to break free and escape without injury.

The NYPD has released media of the suspect and his vehicle, seeking any information that could lead to his identification and arrest.

Updated: Police have arrested a NYC DOE employee in regards to the incident.
