DWI Driver Arrested for Failure to Appear at Trial

CUMBERLAND, MD – Jules Michael Schwarz Jr, 63, of Cumberland, was arrested by the Cumberland City Police on November 17, following the issuance of three bench warrants by the Allegany County District Court. The warrants, dated November 9, accuse Schwarz of failing to appear in court on October 10, October 12, and November 9 for charges including trespassing, driving while intoxicated, and second-degree assault. Following his arrest, Schwarz faced an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was subsequently remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
