Philadelphia Car Wash Workers Shoot Man During Violent Attack

Speedy Lube, Philadelphia, PA

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An altercation at the Speedy Lube car wash on Roosevelt Boulevard in Crescentville, Philadelphia, escalated into a shooting incident on Thursday afternoon.

Philadelphia Police Department reports that the incident occurred just before 2 p.m.

The dispute involved a 56-year-old man and employees of the car wash, leading to a physical fight outside the establishment.

Following the altercation, the man hastily left in his vehicle and struck an employee. In response, two armed employees, licensed to carry firearms, shot at the man’s vehicle, wounding him in the arm.

The injured man was transported to the hospital in stable condition. An employee also sustained injuries during the fight. Although no arrests have been made, police recovered weapons at the scene.
