Shooting in Harlem Claims Life of 32-Year-Old

NEW YORK, NY — A 32-year-old male, identified as Burnie Pleasant, was fatally shot on Wednesday, November 15, in Harlem. The incident occurred around 2107 hours in front of 217 West 116 Street, as reported by the 28 Precinct.

Responding to multiple 911 calls, officers found Pleasant with several gunshot wounds. Emergency services transported him to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was later pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made. The investigation into this tragic event continues.
