Police Investigating Road Rage Assault at Carlisle Intersection

CARLISLE, PA – On the morning of Saturday, the Carlisle Borough Police responded to an assault at the intersection of W. North Street and N. Hanover Street.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:42 AM, involving a suspect operating a maroon Jeep Compass.

The suspect, described as a white male in his 50s, wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, and work boots, allegedly assaulted the victim by applying pressure to their throat while seated in the back seat of the victim’s vehicle.

The victim, who sustained minor injuries, described the suspect as approximately 5’11” and heavier set, with a beard.

The Jeep Compass had a sunroof, light tan interior seats, and chrome trim. The Carlisle Borough Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspect or vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
