Burglary Suspect Apprehended After Kentwood Village Apartment Break-In

BRICK, NJ – On November 14th, the local police responded to a burglary at the Kentwood Village Apartments.

The tenant, monitoring through a security camera while away, reported a male intruder in their apartment. Officers pursued the suspect, identified as Joshua R. Guarino, 34, from Brick Township.

After a brief chase, Ptl. Matt Farnkopf apprehended Guarino, who was found in possession of women’s clothing and jewelry.

Some of the items were claimed by the victim, suggesting potential additional victims. Guarino faces charges including burglary, theft, and resisting arrest.

The police encourage anyone with information about Guarino to contact Det. Ryan Talty.
