Traffic Stop in Laurel Leads to Arrest of Wanted Murder Suspect

LAUREL, MD – A routine traffic stop on Monday, led to the arrest of a wanted murder suspect. At around 12:55 a.m., an officer stopped a black 2012 Honda Civic on Laurel Fort Meade Road near Russett Green East.

Robert Sylvester Frazier, a 42-year-old male from Washington, D.C., was identified as a passenger with an outstanding arrest warrant for murder from the DC Metropolitan Police Department.

He was also found in possession of a loaded .380 semi-automatic handgun.

Frazier was arrested and charged accordingly.
