Deadly Crash in Galloway Leaves One Dead

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – On Sunday, at approximately 6:35 PM, the Galloway Township Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on West Moss Mill Road near Bremen Avenue.

Michael Stewart, an 18-year-old resident of Hamilton Township, was driving a 2004 Toyota Tundra westbound on West Moss Mill Road when he struck Myoung-Chun Jang of Galloway Township. Jang was crossing the road at the time of the accident.

Myoung-Chun Jang sustained fatal injuries from the collision and was transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division, where he was pronounced deceased.

The area of West Moss Mill Road between Bremen Avenue and Frankfurt Avenue was closed for approximately two hours during the investigation.
