Man Smashed With Beer Bottle to Head, Robbed of $2k in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals and a vehicle linked to a robbery.

On Sunday, November 5, at approximately 6:54 a.m., a 29-year-old male was walking near Olinville Avenue and Britton Street when he encountered two unidentified individuals.

Acting together, these individuals struck the victim with a beer bottle and forcibly took $2,000 from him. They were last seen fleeing in a sedan heading northbound on Olinville Avenue. EMS transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is in stable condition.

The first individual is described as a male with a dark complexion and a medium build, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers.

The second individual is described as a male with a light complexion, heavy build, and a beard, wearing a multicolored hat, light green jacket, light blue jeans, and black sneakers.
