Shooting Investigation at Oneida St. – Suspect at Large

UTICA, NY – On Saturday, Utica Police responded to a shots fired incident in the 1300 block of Oneida St.

Upon arrival, officers discovered several spent casings at the scene and a vehicle that had been struck multiple times. The passenger of the vehicle had been hit by gunfire, although he was not inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

The investigation revealed that the male passenger was seated in the vehicle on Oneida St. when the vehicle came under fire.

Following the shooting, both the driver and passenger fled the scene. The injured passenger sought medical attention independently.

The vehicle involved in the incident was located a short distance away. The investigation is ongoing, and the Utica Police is actively searching for the suspect responsible for the shooting.
