Cliffside Park Man Arrested for Sexual Assault and Child Endangerment

CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Delfino Simon-Roca, a construction worker from Cliffside Park, NJ, on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest follows an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, led by Chief Jason Love, and the Cliffside Park Police Department, under Chief Marc Marano.

The Division of Child Protection and Permanency notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit about the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile on October 24, 2023. The subsequent investigation revealed that Simon-Roca committed sexual assault against a child on three occasions in Cliffside Park.

Simon-Roca was arrested on November 21, 2023, and faces charges of second-degree sexual assault and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. He is currently remanded to the Bergen County Jail, awaiting his first court appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack
