Shooting in Essex Leaves One Dead, One Critical

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department’s Essex Precinct is investigating a shooting that resulted in one fatality and one serious injury.

The incident occurred on November 22, 2023, around 12:30 p.m., on the unit block of Glenwood Road, 21221. Responding officers found 22-year-old Philip Pasingda with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A second victim, a 19-year-old male, later arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds related to the same incident. He is currently in serious condition.

As the investigation into the shooting continues, Baltimore County Police urge anyone with information to contact their homicide detectives. The search for the suspect(s) involved in this crime is ongoing.
